Homemade Remedies For Glowing Skin

  • Lightening mask: For an improved complexion, mix lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Apply it on the affected part of the skin and wash it off after a few minutes.

3. Oatmeal

An oatmeal mask, when applied to your skin, will have a great anti-inflammatory effect. You can mix half a cup of oatmeal with a cup of hot water. Allow it to cool then apply on the skin. Rinse off with water after 10 minutes.

4. Skin Hydration

Hydration sounds very simple but is extremely important. First, you need to drink enough water every day. Men are advised to drink 3.7 liters of water while women at least 2.7 liters. When your skin is well hydrated, elastic and plump, its chances of getting cracked or letting in external particles that cause blemishes is reduced.

You should also make sure that you wash your face twice a day. Washing it more times may result in dryness. Use cold water since warm water will open skin pores and allow dirt and bacteria to get in. You can wash with plain water or gentle soap. Avoid any soaps that dry the skin.
